Patrick is up to 35 pounds today, he is doing great. I really don't know a size to give someone since he continues to gain weight. Hopefully he will wind up weighing about 50 pounds.

I try to make it a point never to respond to negative or ignorant comments, but I feel I have to make a point. My question is to those people who feel he should have been put down... If you were placed in a small room, given little to no food, little to no water and no affection, would you give up your spirit, curl into a ball and wish for death? Can't say I wouldn't. So, when a spirit fights that hard, for that long to stay alive, why take it away? Amazing how he can still love! Keep fighting!!

If you are genuinely ready to add a dog to your family and take care of it for the rest of its life, there are thousands of Patricks out there that would love to be part of your family. Please go to your local rescue organization and offer to foster: it's a great way to find the right dog, and you're doing a good deed at the same time.

He survived horrific conditions, and he's still here. I'm not a religious person, but I am spiritual-- Patrick survived FOR A REASON!!!

Patrick will do very well. He has been noticed and someone will adopt him and raise him up to a healthy vibrant pit. The problem is and always has been ignorance when it comes to abuse. In general many people do not know that a dog is not a human with fur but a species all his own. If we learn their language we can talk to them. Put Patrick down..how absolutely stupid and ignorant.
