thats not hard to do just have someone driver in warthog and then have someone stand on warthog with rocket and face down looking at the back of the warthog and then they lock on warthog and aim up really quick and let the fire button go launching the rocket to follow the warthog then the driver drives with a rocket following him this glitch is super old but its pretty awesome!

i promise that it is actually a glitch... but i haven't played xbox in a really really long time so i'm not sure if they might have done anything to fix it... I don't know why they would have. Just remember that it takes some time to get the timing down perfect.

Don't complain to me because you can't figure it out man... that's your problem not mine.
1. Get on top of a banshee with a rocket launcher.
2. Aim down at the banshee and lock on.
3. Look up as fast as possible and release the rocket when you're looking straight up. At the same time you fire the rocket the banshee pilot has to do a back flip.
That's all there is to it.

Nothing happens... the rocket only explodes if it runs into the banshee it is locked on to, runs into a wall, or runs into the ground. Everything else just passes through it.
