In the current climate many employers are looking for innovative ways to retain and motivate their employees;
Flexible working, opportunities to voice opinions, clear values, open & honest working relationships and giving support to the local community are all factors that make employees feel positive about their place of work.

The added bonus is that if businesses can engage their employees and help them to feel good about their job, that positive feeling will be passed on to customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

Employee engagement simply means how committed your employees feel towards their jobs and towards the business; the extent to which they are prepared to go the extra mile.

Evidence shows that employees who perceive themselves to be engaged at work perform better. They take fewer sick days and stay with their company longer than their disengaged colleagues.
