Interesting ident on the end of this one, it looks more like the post 1982 ident rather than the 60's one that had the huge chevron.

Oh, this theme music is a million times better than the poxy crap we have now. I`d actually watch Calendar News if they brought this back.

I believe this Calender theme tune is called 'Trumpets and Trombones'; can anybody help with the composers name and the publishers please? Perhaps someone at YTV knows all the details about it and can post answers; would be very grateful, it is quite a rare piece of music now!

@ROY4196 Don't quote me on it, but I would say the publishers name is Chevron Music, which is YTV's own music publishing label. Emmerdale is also published by Chevron Music, as that is what it says on the copyright sheet music in the ITV 50 Sheet Music book. Im sure if you contact YTV directly, they might give the infomation and tell you if you can get it through them at a charge.
