As Warhol said, "Art is whatever you can get away with", and she's getting away with quite a lot it seems. Utter crap. Damn, it amazes me how folks can be duped.

Totally, totally agree. I think she is someone that everyone is afraid to bash in case she's just so clever and they don't get it. Not the case at all. Her music is ass, though to each their own.

This i like!! Yes it's challenging however the same was said of coltrane, tyner in their day as well.
"A mind is like a parachute- it only works when it's open."-F. Zappa.

This is WOEFUL If this is "the future of jazz guitar", then we are definitely in the toilet as a culture. And she is playing soon at Yoshi's in Oakland, a supposed jazz club? Yeah, McCoy Tyner, Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, Coltrane, T. Blanchard, and this crap? She should be at the open mike night at a coffee shop. What a sickening lowering of standards.
Yawn..........................

I was seeing a dark mysterious woman and I played her Mary Halvorsen, she jumped out the window. She landed on a volkswagon and squashed the head of a bankrobber making his getaway. He recovered and spent several years incarcerated. He was the laughing stock of E wing. I heard that later he devoted his life to under privelleged kids. he was in a session and played Mary Halvorsen to the group. One of the kids jumped out the window.
