Is Proton Radiation Safer or More Effective than Other Radiation for Localized Prostate Cancer?

Proton Beam Therapy has been used to treat many men with localized prostate cancer. In theory, it may be safer or better than photon radiation but the question is what is really known about it. A recent exhaustive review of the literature was performed to answer that question and the results are very important.
