Proton Beam Therapy has been used to treat many men with localized prostate cancer. In theory, it may be safer or better than photon radiation but the question is what is really known about it. A recent exhaustive review of the literature was performed to answer that question and the results are very important. This video summarizes the results of this important study (Terasawa et al, Ann Int. Med, Sept 14, 2009)

  • This is an example of obfustication. Since no alleged studies of x-ray vs charged particles is available it must be bad. here is a study:

    ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15995838

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18237800 This is a direct rebutal to this video.

  • No Sound. Is this being blocked by one of the 330 x-ray facilities that will lose business if the word get out about the secondary cancers caused by x-rays?

Also, Protons are heavier and have a better chance of damaging BOTH strains of tumor DNA. See the newest Proton systems CPRT developed by LLNL/UC Davis.
