I had this game, years ago when it was actually released comercially. I had a lot of fun with it, especially the end-game of a battle when you got to play around with capital ships

It's a full game, for free. It's multiplayer only, but there are ways to explore as a single player (not as a game), and single-player training missions.

Dont worry about the training missions, just head straight on to the real game with real people; you dont even have to be a particularly good pilot to do well, you just have to do the jobs that noone else wants like probing and miner nan (repairer)

This game deserves more attention. I mean, it's only one of the best space combat/real time strategy/flight sim/massive multiplayer online game for the PC.
