Funny thing I heard today. I was watching a program on cbs and one of the speakers on it was talking about music throughout the years. When they were discussing the 80s, the guy said that Janet is not worthy of being called an icon. I beg to differ. What do you guys think?

Hey Guys! Just wanted to inform you that last night i saw janet in concert at the greek theatre for her number ones tour, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! she moves as if she is still 25 instead of 45, and her vocals were fab! she looked GORGEOUS! if u get a chance go see her concert!!!!

It's funny. Now that I'm turning 55 this year, I notice people on the street calling me "sir". That's cool. They actually use that for every generation. So when I get home and play JJ on Sony boombox I feel like I raise eyebrows in the neighborhood. It's like they want me to play Frank Sinatra, Tammy Wynette, or Connie Francis on stereo. It's like, why don't I play my own music. Turning 55 now, isnt what it used to be. This IS MY MUSIC, bro. Now for a little of Ace of Base!

THIS is what Janet became famous for because her name did NOTHING for her entire career, her talent did. Her talent to touch on a personal level with how subjects rather it be social, political, spiritual, erotic, sensual, vengeful, or prideful, she touched on these subjects and showed the world what happened in her life. Unlike the rest of the artist, she was able to stay current and non-predictable with her music or clothing style. Janet you are the bomb! I can't wait for another good album.
