Justin Townes Earle sings a song all by himself to a (sorta, eventually) hushed crowd near the end of his packed show at Smith's Olde Bar in Atlanta, Georgia.
"Louisiana 1927" is a 1974 song written and originally recorded by Randy Newman on the album Good Old Boys, originally telling the story of the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927 that left 700,000 people homeless in Louisiana and Mississippi.

  • It was great seeing him, but I always feel the same after a live show. I wish that I had stayed home, had my friends over and listened to the albums. No a-holes, no crowds, no trouble.

  • That chick would NOT stop yelling for him to play "Black Eyed Suzie"! At least they yanked that idiot out of the audience early on. He was about to get beat down JAR style!
