@toodarkmark I agree Nelson should have never traded Richmond for Owens, but it's understandable why he made the decision at that time. Billy Owens was extremely highly rated an young forward back then, he turned out to be a flop that, at that point, few people have had expected. Bottom line is - the Warriors needed a presence inside, they had too much talents outside, so it was a logical move.

Chris Mullin achieved the most of ALL TIME in the NBA given athletic ability. Second would be Bird. The reason I put Mully above Bird in this regard is because he was shorter. Both were slug slow. Run TMC averaged 72.5 points a game in 90. When Mitch was traded in 91 I cried and threw away alot of warriors stuff. My faith in Nellie is LONG GONE and has been for many years.

Chris Mullin was amazing. He had what, 4 years of scoring 25 plus? Don Nelson should have never traded Richmond for Owens. He should have just worked on trading for a power forward and they could have challenged for years. But Don Nelson is an idiot and bad at putting teams together. Knows talent, just tinkers too much.

Mullin average?!?! he was shooting Js with Bird in the summer of 92? remember that? something called Dream Team? around that time you were still a sperm swinging around your dad's testes
