@nanok44 It is commonly believed that the Czech language is similar to the Polish language so that the Poles can communicate with the Czechs without much difficulty. In fact, only the Czech vocabulary at a fundamental level is similar to Polish. What's more, some Polish words can have completely different meaning in Czech, even vulgar. Therefore, the Poles can communicate quite easily with the Czech Republic only in simple cases.

If I understand it right, the song is in Czech while the text is Polish.

I don't understand any, but when I try to listen and read simultaneously (yes, my brain allows me that), I cleary see similarities. I once met a woman from Brno, who worked as a guide in Prag, and she told me that she was a guide in Poland too.

So my question: Is it possible for people from both countries to understand each others,each speaking his/her own language?
