@definca LOL did you hear that from someone? i see alot of people writing comments about it no way it would get hot enough to give off the fumes and when welding temps go well above 1200C

News flash, plated sheet metal (galvanized) will give off TOXIC fumes when heated with a wood fire. Same reason you never weld galvanized metal POISON. Great project, just use regular non plated steel. Paint it with wood stove paint. Ask any wood stove guy, you NEVER use galvanized pipe for a wood stove.

This isn't a normal wood stove. When the oven was fired and cookies were baked in it the flue stack temperature never got too hot to hold let alone hot enough to melt the zinc. The temperature of the base pan was about 200 - 250° hottter than the oven temperature; Thus you would need to fire the oven at about 500° in order to melt the zinc coating (which melts at about 787°) on the base pan alone. The insides of the oven simply would not get hot enough. But do use unplated if available.
