Why do you rev it before it has been able to push a new oil film around into every nook and cranny? It takes at least a full minute to do so. With old engineering machinery the tolerances are in no way like on modern machines where tolerances and the production as a wholde have been guided to a target value instead of a tool/part target upper and lower limit. Nice bike though.

@fufuburn good point, the initial bumps are just to keep it running, as cold it will slow and stall, the later bump is simply vanity for the camera and could be avoided. Thanks for the tip, I'll see about giving her even more time to "wake up" :-)
