And you re a bonehead for not seeing the art in this. Flamenco s just a style which i personally practice but don't find much entertaining at times. Its a thing of the past. If by professionals you mean those who can express their art exceptionally well in only one style of music Babak s definitely not a professional.

It does not matter how people in spain react to his music, music is self expression, it has no definition. every compesition is uniqe in sence of style,texture,scalings,melodies,...i'm pretty sure that spanish people are not as ignorance as you are.I'm not saying that he is "one of the best" flamenco players that i have ever seen but at least he is not copying anybody and thats all it matters. beside if you can play better prove it
