ever wonder how effective a sword was against armor? the first sword was a blunt for sparring, the second was A sharp Valian Armory Custom Tuned Atrim practical. the sharp sword was not harmed at all, it was even still fully sharp afterwards. I'd say hitting a helmet with a sword wouldn't be very lethal. better hope to stun him long enough to get by the armor.

  • why is this even on youtube

  • @valentekevin100 for the same reason youtube has videos of people launching bottle rockets out of their butt-cheeks or any number of other stupidities. . .

  • For a sword to go through armour the wielder would have to put alot of energy behind it and not just tap it.

  • true but I wasn't keen on the idea of destroying my sword. those things aren't cheap ya know. still, I can tell from this that penetrating the armor and laying blade on flesh would be very difficult. Also working around the shield adds a whole different element too. because your enemy don't stand nice and still like a roll of tatami. strikes that land with full power and good leverage are rare and difficult to set up in a fight. this shows the importance of bypassing armor vice going through it.

  • yup, I'm pretty sure it would. my buddy has a hammer and it's spike is a mighty weapon I killed some kokonuts with it (there's video in here somewhere) and I also used it on some soup cans without even scratching it. it pretty much ignored the soup can and whent right through.

  • hahahahaha

  • STOP!.. Sword time??

  • I'll agree with your earlier asertion that a mace is a much better tool for the job (and not just because I'm a fan of blunt force trauma :) I would think a decent war hammer/millitary pick would open that propane tank like a can of tuna. Thanks for the steel tank videos.
