enigma variations are sad songs that were written to commemorate people in Britain that died, not for some stupid football game.

You are very wrong, Enigma Variations were wrote by the composers for his different people who affected him throughout his life and he titled them differently to make somewhat of a guessing game out of who the person is, for example 'Nimrod' Was written about his best friend (who by the way was still alive) and he named it nimrod because his best friend was very a very smart person so it made it harder to guess that 'Nimrod' would be him, Get your facts straight

second, this isn't for "some stupid football game" you idiot,

this is for a musical program that band students work HARD on perfecting which they take to big contests like this "Bands of America" Championship.

they did a great job musically and visually.

Teehee. Band of America. I'm sorry, but they can't tell the difference in between an AMAZING BAND, and a WONDERFULLY AMAZING. That's why our band doesn't do it. Not very good with judging. And they base it more on visuality than actual playing.

My grandson is just finishing his first year, 6th grade with the Jenison Band program. The program boosters, directors and students are unbelievably talented. By the time the kids get to the 8th grade, they sound professional. I am looking forward to J. with this band through his senior year. I wish there were videos of their indoor concerts.

Nimrod is said to have been a great hero. His name has become proverbial as that of a "mighty hunter". Elgar's best friend was August Jaeger. The German word "Jäger" means "hunter" in English.
