  • I just wanted to follow up, and let you know that the sign you are giving is actually saying resurrection-- which I thought was pretty cool! I hadn't learned that translation yet! I LOVE signing! I look at it as a special form of worship! I love signing to Karen Wheaton, because you can feel the emotion in the music. You are very anointed... please keep ministering...

  • @beauty4ashesworship Thank you so much! And I will check out Karen Wheaton... I pray you keep ministering as well! =)

  • I Was REALLY Impressed...You Have a Very Pretty Voice

  • @lilho1992 oh thank you but that wasn't me singing =) It was a recording of Nicole C. Mullins. She is AN INCREDIBLE SINGER!

  • @annestapleton Wow, I would've liked to see Nicole C. Mullen signing this song. I wonder if she knows ASL.

You did pretty well, considering the fact that you don't know ASL. Have you ever met any Deaf people?

  • @alicelovesherjasper1 If you are trying for conceptual accuracy, I would suggest the sign for "express" or "expressive" in the ASLPRO online dictionary. But it's hard for me to explain how to properly use it. ASL is different from English. It takes full use of the 3d space its allowed to have.

  • what sign did you do for "life with in me cries?" im teaching my self this song, and i cant quite make that part out

  • @beauty4ashesworship Thank you for your feedback! I do not know sign language so I had to go out & find the signs from different places. I used the following 3 sources:

    1. I saw Nicole C. Mullins perform this live at the Billy Graham crusade she signed part of it & i was so inspired that I decided to sign the whole song. I believe that the "empty grave" sign was from her performance. It is also used later in the song to represent the "tomb is empty"

    2. ASL website

    3. HandSpeak website

  • This was great! It was very moving, and so anointed. I actually teach drama/worship class, and I'm learning this to be able to share with them. I have a question; When you are signing grave it is very powerful, but I have not been able to find the same sign for grave. Do you mind letting me know if it is an old sign, or a sign that was created for dramatic emphasis? I'd like to use the same sign, but when asked, I'd like to be able to share what exactly the sign is. Thank you, and be blessed!
