Spoken like a true Christian fan of Christian music.
Sligh is an intelligent, witty, likable guy. I found him to be a breath of fresh air this year. However, his audition did not show him to best advantage. Kat's comments were fair and honest. I can see you prefer someone like Taylor Hicks, who smiled and played Mr. Humble through the competition. I prefer honesty. That's not a diss on Taylor, just my preference.

Actually they'd probably cut Ella in favor of Taylor Hicks with about 4 weeks to go in the competition. (note wry sarcasm). Kat sings rings around Taylor in *general*, although Taylor outperformed her the last few weeks of the competition and deserved to win.
Kat and Chris would have been a heck of a final.

This baloney about Taylor being a great "artist" is a lot of hooey. Kat is an extraordinarily versatile singer who can do jazz, pop, r&b, and probably opera. Taylor is a fine vocalist with some excellent nuances within his narrow range. I really appreciate him. He has nearly a decade more experience in the business than Kat. Wait until she's 30...
