i struggle to listen to this album because it doesnt fail to make me cry, i lost my dad in 1997 when i was 16 and these songs are just beautiful and remind me of my brill dad all the time

@MrAguy645 to be fair, dark side of the moon is one of those albums that needs to have time set aside for it, in order to truly appreciate it. You can't really have it as background music. It's also no good for just listening to individual songs... as an album, it truly is one of the best though.
division bell is much better for background-ness. the individual songs stand alone very well, whereas dark side of the moon needs to be complete in order to properly shine.
