Removing a Prius headlight light bulb in less than 3 minutes. Don't pay $$$ for the dealer to do something as easy as this. Its only hard cause you don't know.

  • Great video and pictures. I was able to uninstall and reinstall in 5 minutes. The second video was good also with rubber protector installation technique.

  • Dude at Advance Auto this morning told me I had to remove the front bumper, undo bolts above the tire in the wheel-well, etc to change the headlight. I watched your video and changed the headlight in 2 minutes. Thanks!

  • i did this before and i'm about to do again. thanks for posting this

  • I was just about to give up and take my Prius to the shop, when I found your video. It was very informative and saved me a lot of time and money. Thank you so much.

  • FANTASTIC...a simple thank you is not enough! Great work

  • Really helpful vid. Thanks so much for posting!

  • Exactly the right info for this otherwise frustrating and difficult replacement. A more popular video says to take off the bumper, but that's totally unnecessary at least for non-HID headlight replacement. Thanks much fb16mathis!

  • This fix is for the pries that f16bmathis and i have thank god. Cause for the one that you have to remove the Bumper is and headlight are for HID Light Build. Yes totally different and time involving fix. And YES on the Retaining Clip. took me im sure less than 5 minutes after watching your Video. before the video id tried for 15 min and i was going the rout of the bumper, Dustcap info Was Great, didn't come out easy but it did. THanks!

  • I actually found the passenger side easier to replace. I had trouble getting the weather cover off on the driver's side. It released but was stuck. Even though I have small hands for a guy, I found the fuse box even with the cover removed to be in the way. I do love the videos where they remove the whole bumper assembly and the headlight assembly and are charging people upwards of $400 at some dealerships. Great video. It help be to release the retaining clip. Thank you very much!
