they had 24 hours to remove the center section (blown up in the video) to clear the river for barge traffic. The peaked ends they blew up the next week and took about 2 weeks to remove. Sold for scrap metal. The whole bridge has been peeling for years. I got a thick curled piece of paint--a beautiful faded aqua one once side, orange from rust and the primer on the other.
