@chugger74 I'm sorry for the heroes who died. I am Brazilian, and I was very moved by your comment. Can you give some more details about this?

It still breaks my heart to see this after all these years. I was a 15 year old high school sophomore in Washington state when the news came on the TV and of all the things that happened to me as a young man I don't think anything affected me more deeply than this sudden incredible tragedy, the loss of these guys who almost seemed to be my peers. Hi, I'm an ECU alum/employee. Thanks for putting up this footage. I've always heard so much about the tragic events, but this is the first time I've actually seen real footage from the game. This game marks a sad and tragic moment in history that links both universities forever. I can speak for most ECU fans that we value the continued relationship between the schools and it's personally a game that I always look forward to each year.

I just got through watching 'We Are Marshall' it's very sad.
From Croatia!
Yes VERY hard to watch. Ted Shoebridge (the quarterback) was a big star at Lyndhurst HS in New Jersey. My dad was the team physician when I was about 10 - I was allowed on the sidelines, and I can still remember Ted patting me on the head, He was my first hero, and I was devastated when he died in the crash. RIP Ted!
