@watemborski22 Same here, the keyboard has some sentimental value, but that shouldn't get in the way of improvements in music technology.

I prefer the monome than the keyboard :) it looks way mroe cooler and is more flexible :) keep it up ur gna be the Mozart of Monomes ;p

well, either way.. the song wasn't written for the piano. It was written for the hapsichord/clavichord. Bach didn't like the piano, it was a new invention at the time and he thought it sounded too bright :D

very cool! i'm interested in the way you have it mapped - and not sure i fully understand...
is each key a 4th higher than the key to the left and a 5th higher than the key below it?

yes! from the perspective of playing, you are correct. The literal code is
MIDINote[x][y] = (5*x) + ((7*Y_SIZE-1)-y))
with Y inverted so "higher" notes are higher (when in fact up is a lower Y).
