hello goanna lover. long live the monarchy! i love the monarchy and hate the idea of becoming a republic. why? because we all know that for president it will turn into an old boys' club. it will be johnny lap dog warhero or bring back doctor clip-on from europe or kimbo from the usa or paul piggery keating. do you remeber when keating was made pm and there was that big to do about being the manager of the ramrods? my question....who the fuck are the ramrods?
@fenderboy88 TBH I prefer Mr Abbott over Gillard. Abbott does change his mind on little economic issues. But at least he has a conservative political belief. I feel Ms Gillard doesn't have any base, she seems that she is a neutral robot who has been put into the top job with no life experience OR no learning from previous life experiences.
@Rafdaganga Im not sure if Turnbull is for ''small government'' as it may seem.I also dont think that Abbott believes in ''smaller government because he is not a principled politician,he likes to say ''great big new tax yet he proposed a levy on Business to fund his maternity leave scheme.
Abbott is a bit of a flipflopper but i think that Turnbull showed principal when he voted for Labors ETS scheme and defied his own party and leader.
@fenderboy88 Classical liberalism isn't confined by the limited left-right, conservative-progressive political spectrum.
A real liberal is a classical liberal. Someone who believes in low taxes, small governments, free markets, equality, basic rights for all humans and the common good.
These traits may be progressive in some countries and conservative in others.
@Rafdaganga How do you define ''Real liberal'' do you mean the term in the classical sense like a Libertarian who is ''socially progressive but ''fiscally conservative''
