not typically, usually the scope see's past the fsb and sometimes leave's a "ghost image of the fsb" I run a few acogs with a fixed fsb and it's a non issue. BTW so do most infantry.

@PACKAN1995 use a 1/8 pin punch. stabilize the fsb with a block of wood or something. center the punch on the pin. some fsb's are pinned with mil spec taper pins ( small hole on one side, large on the other) center the punch on the small end and give a good solid wack. then repeat. eventually they will break loose. be patient.

would the A frame be an issue if I wanted to run a scope?

Hey I'm new to ar's and I'm looking at purchasing a RRA car a2 and I strongly dislike the triangle front sight. I was wondering if I removed it where would my gas tube go to? And what exactly does the gas tube do?
how do i remove the a2 off the front?

Quick question? Can you change the front post on a fixed sight? If so how would you do it?
