i know what you meanlol i borrowed a friends guitar with a floyd for a month and realised its really rather simple so now im looking for a new axe with a trem, i was either looking towards the ec deluxe fr, or maybe a high end schecter cuz they have original floyd rose

ohh i love the ec1000, played one at the music store along with an mh1000 and i was not disappointed !! i would have gone for the mh thought because of the floyd rose, since ive bought a floyd its just sorta become a part of my playing lol

i wanted a rhodes that had a floyd and see though blue finish that kinda also faded to black and i was really close to getting it but i wound up getting the ec1000 deluxe cuz i decided that at the time i didnt want a floyd. and to my dissapointment they discontinued it so now im bummed

yeah, i was sceptical about buying a V ... some times i think why couldnt i have just got a super strat ??? but then i think maan i have a rhoads, thats cool enough :P and yeah i agree, his is the FX260 so it lacks even more tone cz the pickups are EMG designed

and while i have played the guitar your friend has.i mighr agree cuz i feel that the fx400 or whichever it might be (i played it anyway) its kinda lacking some tone but anyway great playing
