The Tea Party at Cheshire Town Hall met with some cool rainy skies on its third consecutive Monday episode. But that did not hinder the people who came out. The crowd doubled from the preceding week. Nineteen people and one dog logged in to protest.
Drivers on the busy road displayed both their appreciation of and solidarity with the ralliers by frequently honking their car horns.
A legend in the Tea Party movement joined this week. Faith, the bell ringer from East Granby, made the trip down to Cheshire to do what she is famous for, ring her bell. The sound of that chime was music to the ears of all who participated.
More Cheshire residents gathered today. From what was discussed, it looks like week number four may be a humdinger!! Come on out and make some new friends, and stand together on your principles. America welcomes all patriots. Each Monday from the hours of 5 PM to 6 PM, you too can become a patriot. The Cheshire Town Hall is easy to find. Just listen to the bells! The bells of freedom.
