this video made my day!i can't believe ringo actually posted that message.I think it was a pretty certain career killer for him.He should be glad at 70 anyone even cares who he was or is.don't get me wrong i think the rooftop concert was one of the best shows ever but people have been reselling autographs since pens were invented he should give some money BACK to his fans for all the millions he's made of them.john or george would have never posted anything like that

@trinketbox1 thanks, you sound nice too! :)

@soccerlovekk Hey, you sound like a great Beatles fan & I am too!!! It's a shame sometimes when fame and fortune hits, we forget where we came from. Ringo needs to be grateful for fans like you and me. Thanks for writing - you truly sound like a nice person.

@trinketbox1 sorry, im replying. i know it was rude of him, and he shouldn't of done it. he has fans all over the world that love and support him and for him to tell them just to "stop sending fan mail" and that he's "very busy" wasn't smart. i agree with you, i'm just saying a lot of people overreact to these things, and that people make mistakes. peace and love.

@soccerlovekk Being an "amazing drummer" and being a "big part of the Beatles" does not mean you can be arrogant in the way you talk or treat people. While I totally agree with you he is a great musician and was a big part of the Beatles [undeniable], he shouldn't have posted a video so blatantly rude to his loyal fan base. He should have simply quit signing autographs as they were asked for via the postal service. Just don't respond.

@trinketbox1 but Ringo is an amazing drummer. he was a big part of The Beatles, just as important as John, Paul, and George.
Before you start calling anyone illiterate you should learn to start sentences with a capital letter and use apostrophes. It's also 'woken' up, not woke up.
Anyway, what is this nonsense about him being woken up at 2am to sign autographs? I'm pretty sure Ringo Starr has a big long drive, iron gates and double glazing. He certainly has the resources. He doesn't get woken up in the middle of the night and anyway no one ever suggested that if someone did that Ringo Starr would be obliged to....

for the illiterates in here who cant figure it out........how would you like to get woke up at 2 in the morning while you were sleeping at your house to sign autographs? what about eating dinner with your family and having it interrupted to sign autographs?
too many idiots who cant figure it out. if you want an autograph attend a show and you could get it. let the man have his personal time as requested so he can enjoy the rest of his life in peace with his family....is that asking too much

@flwhrtrb90 ...get out of bed and deal with it. That would be mad but putting up the angry message about receiving adoring letters is the height of arrogance.

I'm not saying he should sign anything but the arrogance of his original message sickened me.
