I have this exact amp and its beyond Amazing for its price. The amp can really put out great metal tones and great clean tones. It also has a crunch channel (Rhythm) which is really good. I love this amp.

I was in some pawn shop and there were a couple of Marshalls in there, a DSL and something else. I was looking around when someone started playing guitar. I was thinking, "Damn, that Marshall sounds great, what a powerful sound", I turned the corner and the guy was playing thru some Crate solid state 1x12 combo amp... I was BEYOND shocked !

Have this amp!! I replaced the speaker with a vintage 30, which helped tons! and then i run a cheap tube pre amp in the effects loop, which helps even more!! This amp has a great clean tone, at least with my mods, i hate the rhythm sound, it doesnt sound like this for me, haha, but im going now to replicat that!! hope this helps someone!! God bless

i had this amp in the 25 watt version, i hated it, i dont know to much about that one because the 35 watt version didnt have the rhythm channel, it only had solo and clean, you cant really get to many sounds out of the solo on mine either mainly cause the only changing to the sound was the shape knob, if it had a full eq it might be better
