So we got a chance to test fire the our new Flasc barrel with the APEX2 on our G1 marker. Everything preformed great, no chops, you definitely get some crazy distance with the backspin but it is not as accurate. We need to do some game play vids to see how it preforms on the field. Overall Flasc offers some great barrels with tons of customizable options and the APEX2 is a win over the previous version.

  • is there any difference in performance between the sp1 and g1?

  • @2lazy4everything as far as I know they are basically the same marker

  • I mean I'm getting a G1 soon and I've talked my self out of buying a apex barrel and and getting a good loader any suggestions?

  • @MrStonedpaintballer ya i dont like the apex either, the flasc barrel by it self it great, the pinokio loader works great with the G1 and can keep up but some people like lower profile loaders like the Valken loader or Rotor

  • How long is the barrel that the guy put the apex tip on???

  • @MrStonedpaintballer 9 inches

  • Loctite on a brand new barrel?

Seems to me that the manufacturer could have given that a lot more thought and could have designed the Apex adapter or the barrel in such a way that they wouldn't shake loose from normal use. A rim with a small o-ring between the two probably would have already sufficed.

  • @MrStonedpaintballer Apex is good but also not easy to change in quick games like speed ball or scinerio where you would have to adjust to shoot. A good barrel is a cp 12-16" barrel, and a halo b or dye is good, but also over $70, even an eggy works, 11bps doesnt mean you need a 50bps hopper. Im ordering an sp1 or g1 when I sell my tippmann a5, im just going to buy my friends used eggy for 15$

  • i have an apex2 as well, but i wouldnt reccomend using it past setting 2 or 3 because it makes the balls come out downward and fly up, also i think they are flying up so much because you have too high a velocity, mine go straight unless the velocity is tuned too high

  • What is the exact size of paint that works best with the stock apex? bore to paint?

  • G1 with blackheart and pinokio , 20 bps EASY.

  • Do you recommended the G1 over other markers in its price range?
