@anzurose It actually does sound a bit similar, but I'm only seeing it in the 1st few seconds after 2:13. I might be wrong, it's been a while since I've listened to Umineko music, but it's no surprise if Ryukishi07 reused some portions of Higurashi tunes for Umineko.

speaking of the section from 2:13 to 3:05... that's a theme from the Umineko soundtrack, right? I'm having a hard time pinning it down, but it sounds a bit like HANE. anyone know if I'm totally off base?

You can use a file sharing site such as mediafire, esnips (what I used), etc and download the file. Just be careful of downloading.

This is one of my top 5 favorite higurashi's songs. It's so beautiful and soothing, it makes me feel happy yet sad at the same time.
