"You Loose Snake's Eye's".
Cassette and Book story published by Moonbeam Books 1983, a division of Rainbow Communications Ltd, 4 Yeomans Row London SW3.
I stumbled on the book for this story a few days ago while rummaging around in some old stuff of mine and wondered if anyone had uploaded these stories on cassette onto YouTube. Evidentially not, so here is the first story. Sadly I don't have the cassette any more, just the book; so I had to look elsewhere for the audio and found J Gathergood's fan site thea-team.org. He'd already scanned the book too so I didn't have to.
I think these tapes speak for themselves. The cheesy stories, the stock photographs that in some cases don't relate to the story, the odd them music that is nothing like the original television theme tune and f course the hopeless yet somewhat humbling voice acting. "The Face's" voice actor is seriously laid back, isn't he?
I've tried to preserve the original experience by adding the sound effects of using a cassette recorder at the start, middle and end and some fancy page transitions. I've also left in the cassette background hiss.
No copyright breach is intended, I made this video for the sole purpose of preservation and a curio for those who weren't around in the 1980's and/or missed out on these short-lived cassette and book collections.
This will the first of, hopefully, more stories. I hope you enjoy them!
Cool video Thanks Mate
