It's December and -4 C (24 F ), but the centre is still full of bikes.

We only ride past a small part of the cycle parking here. The rest was a full as this bit. When there is an event in the centre they have to put up signs to redirect cyclists to extra overflow cycle parking.

  • Oh, and I forgot to add that I've rode through Alkmaar and Heerhugowaard on a cycling tour earlier in the year. Very nice.

  • Zoza15: We enjoyed my previous stays so much, that we emigrated and now live here. This is a beautiful country.

  • What's special ? Well, while it's quite normal here, you never see such a scene in other countries.
