  • nice flash

im pretty sure you knew this but; OMP will stagger a crouching opponent (ya know... where the opponent has to wiggle his joystick to recover)

its real useful on ppl who try to set up those nitaku situations you were talking about with 2p...

im not sure tho im just sharing my thoughts

  • yes, i am aware of this. :) thank you for your input! OMP is a viable option for beating out 2P.

  • These are great videos, and are surely a welcome substitute for the amazing VF4:Evo tutorial mode, which VF5 lacked. I recently got PS3 version of VF5 for just $5 (a steal at that price), partly because I learned about the upcoming release of VF5:FS for PSN/XBL next summer. I'm not the most hardcore player around, but I enjoy fighting games, and I'm sure the community wouldn't mind me hopping in, even if it's not for the long haul. : )

  • best VF tut vids ever made.

  • Well you lean it outside of the game, VFDC has frame data for all the characters.

It's just a matter of learning it then understanding what your options are then applying it in a match. A very slow process :D

Say you look at the frame data for pk on hit and it's +4, you'll then be able to see you could do a fast mid or throw there to beat attack or evade.

It's not like you actually counting the +4 when you're playing.

  • so how are you supposed to be able to tell?

  • You don't actually count them while you're playing :D

  • how are you even able to count all these frames? I can't even notice 5 frames. Probably 50,000 frames could have just passed me by by the time I was done writing this message.

  • i've been practicing and i have to admit that this tutorial vid is the greatest I've seen. This video and his other one helped out SOOOOOO MUCH with just understanding how deep Virtua Fighter actually is. Good stuff my man, 5 STARS!!

  • Flash be takin cats to school yo'!

  • You're too great. This will be archived everywhere.

  • i'm glad i could contribute :)
