I discovered this song on the radio when I was about 13, c. 1995...it along with Herb Alpert's "Rise" remain two of my all-time favorites.

What fantastic depth of sound! I just decided to play the record version to see how different it would sound and I was amazed at how close it sounded to listening to him live! I had forgotten how records sounded. Thank you so much for this!

@spintheblackcircle4 No problem. It turns our that the "mystery changer" I used to own was made by Maestro, though the arm and pivot base look very similar to those on yours, which was made by Voice of Music for Packard Bell. The companies were in neighboring towns and probably shared vendors. Maestro also took over production of the BIC 900 series turntables, which were designed by VM.

@lrd9999 Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed this. =)
As far as the changer goes, whether the arm is seamless or has a keystone/dovetail interlocking seam, I'm honestly not sure. Sorry. I really don't know too much about this old changer since it was just given to me by my grandma. This old one is a 1968 4-speed Packard Bell solid state record changer and FM/AM radio. That's the most I could tell you.

@spintheblackcircle4 I've generally hated "smooth jazz" but "Feels so good." always seemed a cut above the rest of that genre. I like the way it starts out wimpy, then catches you off guard as it steps up to kind of a ballsy peak.
PS: I'm curious about that VM changer. Is the tubular arm seamless, or does it have kind of a keystone/dovetail interlocking seam on the bottom? I used to have one that looked similar, but was never sure who made it. Thanks!
