Joe Thrift told me that the tune definitely has lyrics, but he hasn't told me what they are yet. Once someone gets them they should be put on the Internet so people who want to perform this tune properly can sing it.

Are you sure it has lyrics? Tom Riccio is known to vocalize in various tunes, whether they have words or not. You can always try emailing Joe Thrift, who has a website. Please let us know what you find.
