Not a kit car... They started with a mid-70's Mercury Station wagon and took off a lot of body parts. They constructed a steel tube frame and bent sheet metal to form the car. Bondo and a lot of sanding gave it details. They spray painted it for this function (but later resanded it and gave it a good paint job). Add the handmade trim parts, wire up the new lights, add a Plexiglas windshield and you have a basic Batmobile.

Chargers are very cool.
In one of the videos you can see a Roadrunner (that needs work), it is similar in size and power to the Charger. We had lots of fun in that car.

At the end of the 3rd video there are some photos taken a few years later, after they finished the car. It was completely repainted and detailed and looks great.
