In this video, NTU President, Prof Bertil Andersson, talks about the new NTU, a young, vibrant and cosmopolitan university that has been developing rapidly in the last few years and is now the fastest-rising university in Asia. It offers undergraduate programmes in engineering, science, business, humanities, arts and social sciences and soon, medicine (from 2013, jointly with Imperial College London).
With state-of-the-art facilities, NTU is also home to four world-class autonomous institutes -- the National Institute of Education, S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Earth Observatory of Singapore, and Singapore Centre on Environmental Life Sciences Engineering -- and various leading research centres such as the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI) and Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N).
