  • so say i wanted to make a warp after i got the 50th star or something to take me to the last bowser battle is that too advanced and requires hex editing?

  • @Gazpacho146 Unfortunately, you would need to create an entirely new behavior with assembly hacks to do that.

  • so you could make it so that if you die, you spawn at the level start?

  • @nightcaller92 Indeed. You just need to select the correct warp object that restores health.

  • Keeperfall I have the worst problem ever. When I start the game and select any file the game freezes.

    I think the warps is the problem

    How I can fixed?

  • @wapacastle63 The warps in Castle Grounds are corrupted. Unless you know what you did, it may be difficult to fix. You can compare the warps and warp objects with an unedited ROM to figure out what went wrong.

  • @Keeperofall you need the recovering life one right? i used toads tool got into the castle and i wondered what was the red thing on the top of the bridge. i did think "it is the bridge? o.O" and i used select object on it and i saw "recovering life" or something like that.

  • @BeanManIncorporated you can't place items, but replace. replace with the butterflies. butterflies are not part of the game

  • @Gazpacho146 You just have to link the warp outside the castle to a warp inside the castle. Now, I have no clue which warp types you want to use (I assume door warps, in which case you have to make sure that you pick an object bank that contains door warps in the importer) and point them towards each other. (I would recommend checking the part 1 video, since it deals with these manual warps.) I have gotten these warps to work in custom levels, so don't fear! It's possible!

  • i have a question, if i put in a custom level, with fraubers OBJ importer how would i make a warp go to the inside castle i replaced the castle grounds and the only warps into the castle are ones that take me out of the bob-omb battlefield painting and thus freezing my game
