This is from Eric McDaniel's 1985 debut release, "He Gave It To Me", on GTS Records.

To listen to "When I See Jesus" from this same album, visit my blog:

  • i love this album especially the song All the way thanks for posting

  • You're welcome.

  • This Is One Of The Hottest Songs On This Album

  • This song had to grow on me, but when it goes into the vamp, that's when I really like it. The whole album does sound a bit dated, but there's a few good tracks on there like the title track and "When I See Jesus".

  • I think it ok to upload these tunes, its just that not many people have!

  • If anyone has "What Would you Say to Jesus?" by the Bronx Mass Choir, please post. Thanks.

  • How can I get a copy of this album? It really does bring back memories of the good old days at Green Pastures with the young adult choir and gospel ensemble.

If the songs are dated, that would be because it is a very old album.

Nice to see you around Ski!

  • Also Eric McDaniel has written songs for Hezekiah Walker, Timothy Wright, T.D. Jakes and many other artists.

  • question why do youtube allow this song but not more like him

  • That's my best friend on lead , Rev. Roger Hambrick now pastor of Green Pasture Baptist Church in the Bronx, New York. Founded by the late Rev Dupree Fort. Former pastor was Roger's father, The late Rev. Clyde Hambrick. Roger's still sangin' too. You should hear the Hambrick grandkids sing........

  • Sorry about that, but songs like that are hard to find.

  • No, not Jeffrey White, it's Ron Long on bass.

This album is out of print.
