Ah the memories of a kid in the late 40s, used to listen to this one on the radio quite often on the (BBCs childrens hour)
Released in the 1930s after the original Betty Boop cartoon in 1933

  • Eu era entao uma crianca. Eu e minha irma Nita corriamos para casa de uma vizinha que tinha um radio para ouvir o "CONTO' transmitido pela Emissora nacioal. Esta era a musica que precedia e acabava o programa. O ouvi-la tras-me memorias felizes da minha infancia. Ja la vao quase 60 anos....

  • When I was a kid in 1950s England we had a wind-up gramaphone, and this was one of the records we played on it; it was my favourite, and I can still remember how upset I was when it was broken. I've been looking for it on and off ever since, but always came up with Tchaikovsky's march. Thanks so much for posting this; nostalgia was never better.
