Teen shows no remorse over shooting death of 66 year old

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Monday morning during his sentencing, 19 year old Robert Thompson told Oneida County Court Judge Michael Dwyer that he had no remorse at all for shooting and killing 66 year old George Garrow.

Prosecutors say Thompson and his half-brother, 19 year old Trevon Patterson went up the steps of Garrow's Dudley Avenue home to rob him of drugs and cash on Thanksgiving Eve 2009.

Prosecutors say Garrow was a known drug dealer, and the two teens intended to just rob him, but Garrow fought back and Thompson shot Garrow twice and killed him.

Dwyer was appalled at Thompson's lack of remorse and told him he would recommend to the parole board they never release Thompson early, that he serve every day of his 25 year sentence for 1st degree manslaughter

25 years later I bet he will kill another man, but sure our justice system is perfectly fine. At least he killed someone that probably deserved to die. Hopefully he does the same next time around.

@Elmore3141 It's just circumstances dude, there are tribes in Africa that are still very primitive because they lack exposure, they aren't educated. I believe that there are also some tribes in the rainforests that are also primitive, they aren't black. When you say 'Africa' is full of low-IQ people, that's not really true Africa is a big place with black and white people. And like anywhere else most of the ignorance is from poorer parts of the country.

@BranHudMapTV you see, it's just that kind of thing that made me come to a decision long ago, if i ever thought it likely that i was to be arrested and spend time in prison I would without delay settle old scores then shoot myself. Prison would be worse than death, thus you will never see me enter a court room alive, I would much rather die.
