  • This game is not that difficult!!!

If you wanna see the mother of difficult games, try playing Golgo 13 or its sequel. You absolutely cannot win without save states, a map, instructions and a game genie.

  • I have read some of the comics, and I still don't know that he really has any powers. He doesn't use any.

  • AVGN: ITS FUCKIN HORRIBLE AND I DARE YOU TO PLAY IT!!!!!!!!

    ME: Challenge accepted

A day later I beat it

  • I prefer this opening than all the others I have seen from the AVGN!!

  • ASS!

  • Such a disgrace to one of the strongest superheroes of all time. Shitty level design along with making SS a complete wimp who dies once touching the environment. A feather landing on his head would be instant death apparently...lol.

  • @AnonymousJustified I played Silver Surfer a long time ago, don't remember the difficulty exactly, but it was tough. Still haven't managed 1cc on EoSD myself.

  • @0PyramidHead

That's true, and you have only one life.

To me, the difficulty of all the stages in Silver Surfer seems about equal to Stage 3 of EoSD on Normal mode.

Give it a few shots, you'll eventually make it. It is a pain in the ass, especially since you have no bombs, but the presence of checkpoints may make up for it.

After I 1cc EoSD on Normal for the first time, I'll give NES Silver Surfer a shot.

  • @AnonymousJustified Well that's a good point, but IIRC, if you get game over in Silver Surfer, you have to restart at the beginning of the entire stage, rather than just at the beginning of the section, sort of stopping you from allowing to memorize them immediately. It also doesn't really help for the final stage. Touhou lets you memorize the patterns immediately using practice mode.

  • @0PyramidHead

I personally feel that Touhou is harder.

Considering that you have to go through the whole game to access all the stages, and beating the game on easy doesn't count. You have to memorize a bulk of the patterns on levels 3-6 and the Extra Stage, which will make you beat the game to train. So to beat the game, you have to train, and to train, you have to beat the game.

Silver surfer lets you memorize all the patterns immediately, and beat it in any order.
