During our visit to the Guarani Village in Misones, Argentina we were treated to a performance by the village's children's choir. They were so sweet! Guarani is a language much different from Spanish that is still spoken today in the indigenous communities of South America.
After the performance on the walk back to the bus one of the little girls gave me a carving of a toucan. I wanted to give her something in return but all I had was a tube of Mint Chapstick. I hope giving it to her wasn't a cultural faux pas! She was sweet in any case.
