Yes, that is JD Sumner singing bass. It sounds like JD. The picture on the album looks like JD, Wally, James, Bill and Cecil. Neither of the others ever sang bass. It is JD singing bass.

That is JD. I had that album. Wally Varner was not the piano player when Bill was alive.
