Droid X Web Browser Comparison (iPhone 4, Nexus One)

In this video, we take a look at some of the inbuilt software of the Verizon Motorola Droid X, plus put the device head-to-head with the iPhone 4 and Google Nexus One running on Froyo.

To start, the Droid X has some neat applications built in. You can use the 3G mobile hotspot app, but it's going to cost you $20 extra on your bill, plus there is a 2GB data cap. You can expect to get speeds similar to what a MiFi would bring, so about 1.5mbps down, and about 1mbps up.

We talk briefly about the DLNA support which allows you to integrated multiple supported devices for multimedia playback. It's still unclear as to whether this standard will be popular, but a lot of new TVs and smartphones are coming with the standard built in.

Then we do a web browser comparison against the iPhone 4 and Nexus One with Froyo. The results? The Droid X beat both devices most of the time in terms of page load times, which is great too see, and reflects the overall robust performance of the Droid X. Also, having the larger screen made web browsing more immersive.

Iam not fanboy of any... But i dont wanna have a really big phone with bigger than 3,5" and i think now apple 4g to buy from human its not very expensive.

Iphone is not about performance. It has mastery in the touch screen unlike any other device and the interface is most definitely more smooth than any other device.

I, however, don't give a fuck because I'm not a hipster faggot that likes perfection in appearance. I'd rather have something almost perfect with interface and amazing with power than something super pretty and not as good.

But, seriously, I have no idea how the iPhone is so perfect with touch controls...

sure, the other phones are a TINY bit faster, but the iphone is 10 times smoother, hense why it probably takes a tiny bit longer. iphone is beautiful.
