Summary: Group FMG was commissioned by Value Retail Group to create, design and produce an animated promo to celebrate Chinese New Year. The video was to be used online, virally and on-site at nine different international retail locations.
The entire CGI piece was created from scratch; artworked and storyboarded by Group FMG's in-house design team and then built and rendered into a fully realised 3D animation. Everything from the environment, the architecture, colouring, texture, shading and chinese dragon itself had to be entirely bespoke and original!
