The guy who commented that this is not about immigration is correct, Bruce played this at Dannys funeral. It has a much deeper meaning. To me it is meeting your loved ones after you pass. It is about endless complete undying love.

Beautiful, my favorite song of Bruce (and there are a lot), the lyrics are very touching too, we have almost all, all around the world, forefathers who had to cross a Border or an Ocean, to find happiness or just survival...I like the way Bruce succeed to write some songs who touch the core of Mankind
