70 Mph Road test of "Supervisor" attachment to Helmet Face Shield. I was concerned about the possibility of the visor lifting the face shield while at normal road speeds. Seems to hold the shield down while the helmet is in normal attitude but when helmet is tilted up it appears to actually lift the shield. The amount of lift is about 3/4 inch where the normal face shield detent mechanism stops it from going any further. My helmet has a lock-down lever but I didn't use it for the purposes of demonstrating what would happen if one forgot to use it or didn't have a lock-down in the first place.
I like the visor and will continue to use it along with recommending its use to others. Just thought riders should know about this performance attribute. Normal head tilt at road speeds results in acceptable behavior. Looking up/tilting my head back at 70 Mph is not recommended and was done for testing/demonstration purposes only.
