Performed live in Bremen, former West Germany, on Saturday, February 18, 1978. By the way, the same day Comedian Oliver Pocher was born in Hannover ;-)
@DTrain77 They do miss their cue... this was filmed on a German TV show in Feb/Mar 78. In MAY 78 they performed 'Take a Chance' on the James Last show - and if you watch that one they 'adjust' the beginning because of the missed cue on the earlier show...they start the song with their backs to the camera - and then turn around - hence making sure they don't miss it a second time! Clever..'Take a Chance on Me' was Abba's 7th UK No.1.. and 'The Album' had been at No.1 for 9 weeks..sold millions!
@dholm13 Just for info really: This performance was on a German TV show in about Feb/March 1978 - Agnetha and Bjorn were still together.. they separated in Dec 1978, and divorced at the beginning of 1979 - after 9 years together (7 married). However, the band stayed together until 1982...although it became more difficult for them towards the end as Frida and Benny divorced in 1981 - after being together for 12 years (the last 2 married)...
One of my most favorite ABBA songs Rudolf, and this is a very nice performance of this great tune! How in the world Agnetha could look so happy when her & Bjorn had already been divorced, I will never know!! That always amazes me! Hope you have A very Happy New Year Rudolf!
